Attending Online

Live broadcast of the festival will be available this year !

The emphasis for this year’s Canadian Festival is on in-person attendance, but it will be possible to participate online if you are not able to attend in-person. For those who have booked to participate online, each online session will be live-streamed and become available after the live session as an on-demand video until Sunday May 10th.

  • You will need to choose either the in-person or the online option at the time of booking the Canadian Festival. You will not be able to book for both.

  • There will be no live broadcast of the festival. For those who have booked to participate online, each online session will become available one week after the live (in-person) session has taken place.

  • All sessions will remain available online until 11:59 p.m. EST on May 3, 2026, with the exception of the Empowerment Ceremony. The Empowerment Ceremony will be available for only 24 hours, more precisely from 11:00 a.m. EST on May 2, 2026 to 10:59 a.m. EST on May 3, 2026.

    For bookings made before ____, 2026, registered attendees will receive an email with a link to the ‘Online Festival’ Page by 1:00 p.m. EST on ?, 2026.

    For bookings made on ?, 2026 or after, registered attendees will receive an email with a link to the ‘Online Festival’ Page as time permits, in the next 12 hours following their booking.

    The online sessions will start appearing on that page only at the times specified in the timetable on the ‘Online Programme’ Page. Please book in advance to insure you can access the online sessions in a timely manner.

  • All festival teachings, meditations and retreat sessions are conducted in English. We can provide simultaneous translation into French.

  • Audio recordings are of the teaching sessions only and do not include the guided meditations and the empowerment ceremony.

    They can be purchased at the time of booking the festival, or simply by e-mailing festivals@kadampa.ca.

    Recordings are for the sole use of the registered recipient and should not be shared.

  • Please email recordings@kadampa.ca for assistance. We will answer and assist you to the best of our ability in a timely manner during our office hours, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. EST.
